A dream come true…ever since Kelly was a little girl she dreamed about becoming a wedding planner. In college she began to pursue this dream and took an Entrepreneur class to explore how she might be able to create her own successful business someday.

She wrote a business plan and realized that this vision could soon become a reality! To gain experience, Kelly worked as a Wedding Coordinator at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, Washington. She coordinated up to three weddings a weekend and eventually realized it was time to open her own business! She planned weddings and events on the side for years while she continued to pursue her career in Human Resources.

Eventually, Kelly had the opportunity to take her wedding and event planning company full-time and thus, the beginning of Sweet Pea Events! Her sincere passion for people, coupled with her creativity and event savvy, are just a few reasons why she loves event planning and would enjoy the opportunity to work with you.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys yoga, playing tennis, spending time with her friends and family, and all things coffee, chocolate, and wine! She also loves international travel and has been to Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Honduras, Belize, Spain, and Portugal to name a few…and is itching to plan another trip!

Holly-Kate has enjoyed planning corporate events, fundraisers and weddings ever since she moved to Seattle six years ago. She brings a wealth of knowledge, fine tuned detail, and bursts of creativity to Sweet Pea Events. She enjoys getting to know her clients, helping them envision their special day, and making it happen!

Holly-Kate offers personal attention during the planning phase, helping the client to fine-tune the vision for their special event. Her attentiveness to each aspect of an event really shows on the big day! With Holly-Kate's organizational skills the clients will be confident in the outcome of their event.

In recent years, Holly-Kate has worked in Marketing for a Fortune 500 company. That experience ignited a passion for being a part of many premier events in the Pacific Northwest. Events that Holly-Kate has worked on include; numerous weddings, Pike Place Centennial Celebration, Seattle Parks Makeover and many more.

In her spare time, Holly-Kate enjoys trail running and hiking. She also loves spending time with her husband and her one year old son. Holly-Kate lives in Seattle, and especially likes the city during the fall when the leaves are changing color and she can drink a double tall, light chocolate mocha. She is excited to be a part of the Sweet Pea team!

Kirsten comes to Sweet Pea Events with over 5 years of experience planning and designing events. Most recently she worked for World Vision where she was responsible for marketing and events. Prior to World Vision, she worked for Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, focusing on auctions and other fundraising events.

She has been coordinating weddings for several years and brings her creativity and organizational finesse into every wedding she plans. Her clients rave about her work and often express that Kirsten becomes a wonderful friend to them throughout the planning process.
